Anyone else going to the Plano Tx Balloon Festival? It starts Fri 9/22 and runs through the weekend. Best shooting is Friday evening with the balloon glow and then Sat am with mass liftoff.

I just saw your post.
Darn! I didn't realize the festival was this weekend. I just made plans to go out of town Friday afternoon.
What a great photo opportunity that will be. |

| I didn't realize it was here this weekend either. I work Friday but I may be able to make it sat. Cool to know. I live in sherman...not too far a drive for me. Where exactly is it...I always hear people talking about it, and I remember when I was little seeing the balloons in Frisco, where I lived at the time. |

It's a lot of fun and a great photo op... unfortunately I can't go this year but if you get the chance, take it.  crabappl3 and  gordon and I went in 2004 and got some neat shots (well, they did, I was just learning and tagging along like a lost puppy). Have fun and post pics, whoever gets to go! :)
