I don't really have any outtakes. I didn't even shoot anything with the Challenge in mind ... but I'm happy with 5th Place, nonetheless. ;-)

Had thought of using the pink one for pastels but decided not to last minute.

As specifically stated in the challenge description, it is surprising to me how few images in the rule of thirds challenge actually had a main subject of interest well centered on an intersection point. Seems like that should be very easy.

Don't get me wrong. I don't take the challenge topic as seriously as others do. I don't vote images down because of it. I judge the image, not the challenge. But I find it strange that something so specifically stated and so easily achieved was not in most of the images.

Outtakes. These all use layers so wouldn't work in the challenge.

Here is another shot I was seriously considering submitting instead of my entry and probably would have if the advanced ruleset had been in this challenge, I would have submitted the shot like this but with a darker sky with a more red hue to it.

Hey Crystal - I like your outtake better. :( Sorry, probably not what you want to hear. It's pretty cool the way you used waxed paper on the windows for you challenge entry. I need to remember that trick. ;^)
