Several years ago I leafed through a book which was all about a Scandinavian worker's communit which had been restored and preserved as it had looked when it was at its peak (late 19th century, I think).
The photos were incredible. The buildings and artefacts made wonderful subjects.
Does this ring a bell with anyone? I did a quick Web search but as I can't recall which country (Norway, Sweden, Finland, etc), my search turned up nothing.
Any help would be appreciated. |

I had a little extra time today so I gave your search a shot. I focused on trying to find the name of the place without much luck. I'm not sure what kind of "workers' community" it was so I guessed "industrial" might narrow the search a bit. I'll give you a couple links that I found that have potential, but probably still aren't what you're looking for.

Falun, Sweden also seems to be very proud of its industrial past and has several restored communities though I can't find a good link to show this.
