I am just looking for inexpensive stools or something to help with posing families and groups. I have been using my couch ottomans, but it doesn't always work the best for staggering!!! The posing stools can be had for $50ea, but I would need 3 or 4 of them.

What do you use?

I personally hate that old school stair step look. I like to sit them on the ground (I SUGGEST where they should be), and let them just chat among themselves. You get the most natural expressions that way.
