Simply wondering if anyone's had any experience with beachcamera, or any online store for that matter, adorama, bhphotovideo, you name it, shipping abroad.
Can't seem to find any information on their page telling whether they ship worldwide or not.
Also, shipping SLRs. Any chance you might receive damaged goods, so to speak? Been pondering for a while, decided to go for the Pentax K100d instead of the D50 / 350D.
Would be great if I'd receive some response :] |

Some companies will ship overseas others won't. Damage will depend on how well the package is wrapped and handled during the shipping process.
edit. to ad, My bro inlaw who lives in New Zealand but was living in Japan for 3 years he ordered alot of things from the States while in Japan. Never had any problems with the shipping but he ordered a watch once and the crystal was broken when he received it. The company replaced it with out hassle.

I can't speak for the others, but B and H does ship worldwide.

I'm not sure about overseas shipping, but you can ask them. Go to their support page and scroll down to "International Shipments" under the "Shipping/Returns" section.
They certainly have the lowest price for the Pentax K100D Kit (US $599.99). Their Tamron 75-300mm lens is priced right, too at (US $139) |

I ordered once from beach camera, won't ever do it again. The sales staff had no idea what they were talking about and tried to charge me close to 300.00 usd for a battery for my D200. STAY AWAY FROM BEACH CAMERA.
