Well, I was well and truly beaten this week

5.927

versus

5.924

So, that makes it 5:3 to me now (am feeling hopeful this week even though I had a slow start it WILL pick up).

OK, It's about time I got to post the latest results. This week was well and truely a walkover for Andi, and deservedly so....

Ecce Signum:

Avg (all users): 6.4472

Talj:

Avg (all users): 5.2000

An extremely well deserved TOP 10 finish Andi :o) Congrats!

I shall refrain from making excuses about hospital visits and lack of time cos I'm pretty sure Andi won't let me get away with it ;o)

Of course this wouldn't have been possible without the great 'eye' I have for locations ;o)

That sadly brings the scores to:

Ecce Signum 6
Talj 3

One more win for Andi and its all over :o(

Thanks T and I must say a much better margin than last week :)I'm back peddling this week as 'the team' are in light training during their week off prior to the WPL2 Playoffs. Oh, I've seen no announcement but this morning my shot was 7th and tonight its 6th :)

I'm fighting back!!!

After a week off I have returned with plenty of enthusiasm and positive thoughts that I CAN win the head to head!

I think you are right, depending on Andi's score in High Contrast, that should bring the head to head scores to:

Talj 5

Ecce Signum 6

yup, for want of a better phrase "I'm going down" nothing special this week either so am starting to thing hard about our playoff and the October free Study. Things are getting serious as there is a lot of money at stake here.

Am really proud of you T :)

But, I'd like to give you the recognition you deserve this week Andi.

I am able to fully appreciate your High Contrast image where as I feel the voters weren't and that was reflected in your score. You already know what I think/feel about the shot so all I will say (again) is I am proud of the way you have used your photography to express yourself in this image.

Oh and I am pleased that you scored above your average ;o)

Sadly this is VERY true!! Next time I agree to any challenge with Andi I need 1) to be sober! and 2) not agree to such high stakes!!

T, its going to be closer than you think, I entered a very average shot and wish I'd re-edited it on Tuesday, I think its currently scoring above its worth (another good idea poorly executed), I can't comment on comments without giving my submission away but its fun reading 1 comment saying x is good and the next saying x lets it down, then its y is great, then y lets it down (you get the idea).

anyway, we are both in the same tenth now, I was sitting pretty at 6:3 and was cruising, now I've resigned myself to regroup and pull out a super 'lucky' shot for the October FS if I don't get uber luck this week ;) (oh, and you provided the props lol)

I am however hugely proud of my attempts at doing something different (for me) and managing a few average 'moves' in PS this week :o)

Although losing maybe hard to handle I have gained so much from this head to head that I can't really say I have lost.....

Entered at least 1 Challenge a week for 12 weeks
3 +6 scores
1 +7 score
1 Ribbon

Now on to WPL3....will we be doing the Head to Head Round 2? Me thinks sober agreements on the 'prize' should be made this time!!!

I know they say pride comes before a fall but it looks as if (another) average shot from me will end this 12 week head to head!

(5.5023) is imho a better shot than my woody submission but I met the challenge in a more dpc friendly way.

I was a little baffled earlier about an email I received but now it all makes sense.

You were wondering if I had a 'secret' shot in Woody or Ducky this week weren't you Andi? :o)

Well, sadly, I didn't back up my lowish scoring shot in Faceless Portrait with an equally low scoring shot in either Woody or Ducky. So, basically, unless your score drops rapidly tomorrow you are right you will win the 12 week head to head......
