Last minute entry so resorted to setting fire to myself (again) am hoping this follows the rule of thirds sufficiently?

awesome concept, I am half liking the black background and half thinking it could be improved by having a urban street

I like the composition in this shot, an unusual placement of the hand which works well. As always your editing is good and I love your title! :o) Nice one Andi :o)

Somehow I like the frame, usually I don't. Quite an interesting composition, since you decided no to go with landscape orientation. Interesting lighting.

Great shot! The flame is great but the detail, sharpness and contrast of the hand is what makes the difference for me. My personal blue ribbon is awarded to you.

Interesting shot - creative and meets the challenge. The only thing I am not real crazy about it the green cast to the skin.

Great idea for a picture. However the fire just doesn't look real. Even though it probably is, the way it is processed makes it look not really like fire (like it's photoshopped in kind of). Part of that is the lack of color. For me it doesn't work very well.

How was this done within the rules of basic editing?
