Originally posted by jaded_youth: sometimes like for me. the womens been told for thier entire lives by someone(usually an important male figure, such as my dad in my case) that they are gross, and will never be loved and possibly had food locked away from them just to make them feel about as dumb and ugly as possible(yes, i have). a few nice words from any man cant erase years and years of ridcule. sad, but true. Also charts that show whats an "optimal" size. as soon as your over that perfect weight for your height(and im waaay over it) you feel like a freak of nature. | Crystal, from what I can tell, you're a very beautiful woman. And what I said wasn't directed at you specifically. It was at women in general. I knew a woman who was 5'6", weighed 95 lbs and thought she was too fat. And I do have to agree that to some degree it is marketing that has done this. I hate to hear stories like yours where people are put and mistreated. It makes me sick to think people would/could do stuff like that. But, I'm going to wrap this up with some good advice, which you probably don't need anyway:
"Be yourself, nobody else can be you!"

Thanks mike.
I know what you mean. my last most recent best friend was that way but even though she was so skinny and sick that she ended up in the hospital because of it, her boyfriend was still calling her fat and then trying to get me to have a threesome with them. how much sense does that make? call your girlfriend fat till she kills herself and then try to get a fat chick in bed?? lol. but i think for every woman who hates her body theres a person(not just male) who is and/or has sparked the problem. it doesnt just happen out of nowhere. |

I can guarantee there is not one woman on this earth that is happy with her body. This challenge has made people face so many different areas of their life. From certain areas of their bodies showing, to different techniques on and off the camera. And if we all come out of this with more confidence....then we are all winners...no matter what size our bodies are.
We are all different and no one would want us any other way.
So chin up everyone.....and smile.

I have no ideas for my SP today. What would y'all like to see out of me today?
Edit: I was gonna ask, what part of Mike do y'all wanna see today, but that might make Jim even more sick than he is and I don't wanna know where some of you might take that.

I want you to try that shot that I processed for you...but get it right in the camera rather than rely on PP.

Hmmm...I could always get nasty and say copy my graveshots. Go and lie down on someones grave.
Oh and for the record...I also did a night shoot in the graveyard and had my models lie down on the graveplots. I laid bones around them that I got from the doctors and painted the models with torches. The police kept an eye on us for safety as a lot of crimes happen in there at night.

Pffft...I'd have to do that this weekend if I was gonna do it. Plus, I'd have to dig at least 6 inches down into the grave plot, to get to the cooler soil to lie down in.

And then someone can use Leroy's camera tattoo to take a picture of your duckie tattoo.

I haven't had a good skin day since I was 10. And the last time I had a good hair day was probably when I was 22. My feet are sorely in need of a pedicure. I broke a nail. My arms are starting to sag in the old-lady sag locations.
I guess I've nothing left to shoot! :-)
So are we doing graveyards this weekend? I'll have to find one. But I'm doing mine in daylight... I have no accomplices to drag along and really, really don't want to get arrested... |

Sadly enough my camera tattoo is a Pentax and doesn't work :-) Really, it was drawn from an old 35mm Pentax camera.
