Yah.. I'd be up for that.

That was not a DPC challenge, was it? I thought it was just a bunch of photo-bloggers who challenged themselves and each other. I agree though, I saw a bunch of those and was very impressed with the creativity!

I think that's what she meant.. that it was just a challenge among people, not a DPC challenge.

It was a lot of hard work staying motivated every day for a month.... but the opportunity to learn is well worth it. would I do it again? Maybe. Who knows. I would recommend everyone give it a try once -- you'll be sooooooooooo amazed at how much you can accomplish in 30 days.

This is my April 30 days...

I think another go-round for those of us that missed it due to non-membership, or shyness, or inexperience, would be great. I'd be into it.

Of course this topic would come up right when I've started my third round of 50 Days... between that and work and school and social events and WPL challenge submissions, I don't have time to stack another photo project in there, but would love to do it... maybe in November? Le sigh.

I learned soooo much that month. And my PS skill increased like mad because we had no rules to restrict us....It was fun..
But like Cindi said, hard to do every day, for 30 days...I might be up for it tho ;-)

I'd be happy to do it if I could find a stand-in. Since that's unlikely, I'll be happy to watch and learn about post processing for those willing to share.

I think you should do it!! Its amazing how one comes to terms with ones own face when you spend all that time looking at yourself.
And, as always, bless the healing brush :-))

I would do it but I don't think anyone wants to see my ugly ass for 30 days straight

It's not about whether or not we wanna see YOU, its about how much you learn while alone with your camera every day for a month! Besides, you wife might like ONE of them! Maybe... lol

I've come to terms. I hate it. And trust me, you don't wanna see me for 30 days either. :-)

since some of you expressed concern about the commmitment... 30 days non stop... maybe we could shorten it? i'm not real hip to how it was executed last time, but maybe this time we could make a few changes to make it more user friendly?

can someone post the thread for the last 30 day challenge... i cant seem to find it

Last time it started just like this. A bunch of people discussing the idea - agreeing to give it a try - then choosing a start date and going for it. New people were welcome to join in at any time and if ppl missed days or stopped all-together it was okay. Not sure how much more user-friendly it could be.

It's usually best to start on a round date. 1st of the month. Last of the month... some day that everyone is aware of. That sort of thing.

As we JUST started a month.. it could be a little difficult. You want to give people a couple of days to get ready.. prepare a bit..

I'd say start on Sept. 5. First day back after Labor Day for North Americans... and 5 is always a nice number. That'll give us to Oct. 5th, and without 31 days screwing us up, it's an easy number to remember.

...Could start on the 7th... that's my birthday! :D

We'll need a volunteer to keep track of website and portfolio links and people participating..

but don't look at me. I suck at that kind of thing.
