If someone will help me figure out the whole blogging thing... I do have one set up. Mel's Place

Can't guarantee I'll get in one a day, nor will I guarantee any of them will be worth much, but I'll give it a shot. (Heck, I'm not even guaranteeing I'll be in all of 'em....)

We still on for a start on Wednesday? I'm starting to get excited about trying this again... but at the same time, I still remember how frustrated I got around day 16 or so last time.... but then you start to see the end getting close so you just drive forward hard and end by showing your ass ;)

Why thank you.

Did you notice how I was nowhere near the front of the lens? A condition that made the photo so much more palatable to voters :)

See, now here's the issue. Miss Idnic, there, is very good looking. As are all the other females signed up to do this thing.

LOL No I'm not!! I've just learned to use lighting and PhotoShop to my advantage! You wouldn't recognize me on the street! :P

You know, when I did this it was a great experience on a lot of levels. I'm just not sure I want to do it again, because it couldn't possibly be as good as the first time, you know what I mean? Plus as a homeschooling mom with school starting up the day after tomorrow I'm not sure I could manage it time-wise. I dunno, though, it was SO MUCH FUN. I'm thinking. :)

First... it's totally NOT a beauty contest. It's not any kind of contest, it's just a personal challenge.

Second: I am The Homely One. I truly am. Or so I always thought of myself until I did this challenge (you should have heard the cruel things people said to and about me when I was young, and that stuff sticks with you, know what I mean?). Not that I think I'm a beauty queen now, that's not it at all, but taking a picture of myself every day and posting it and NOT having people run away screaming, feeling part of a group even though I'll never be 'the pretty one' (that'd be Cindi, lol), learning how much is done with lighting and post-processing to all those pictures we really shouldn't compare ourselves to... it was all very educational. And even life-changing. Seriously, do it. You'll be glad you did.
