Where do you order from?

I usually use Documounts but am wondering if there's anyplace else that's good and cheaper.

Thanks.

I haven't bought any frames and mattes yet, but I have been collecting threads relating to this subject in my watched threads. Here's what I have:

How you do frame your shots?

Learning to matt/mount

I thought I had more, but that's it.

I recently asked a friend of mine who goes to garage sales every weekend to pick up bargains on frames, especially old frames for me. Yesterday, he brought me 8 frames, mostly large ones without glass. My idea is to match a photo with the frame, rather than the other way around and sell one of a kind pieces of art. Maybe I'll try some photoshop technique than will give an aged appearance to some of my work to better match the old and ornate frames that he has found so far.

My cost so far for the 8 frames...$12.00.

Thanks for the links, Robert. I checked them out but they are running about the same as Documounts.

Anyone else?

I use AmericanFrame.com. They have a nice selection of frames and mats, fair prices, and good service.

...which reminds me. I need to order some more frames.

Thanks for the reminder ButterflySister! :D

No problem, Fig Newton! ;-)

I think I'm likin' American Frame! Going to do some more comparison shopping tomorrow. Thanks for the link!

West Shore Distributors

Out of dozens of orders, only one problem. I'd use them more if I hadn't found a framing warehouse here in town.
