Not only a double winner, but a quadruple winner! Today I won 2nd place at Better Photo and on August 30th it will be photo of the day at Kodak (and also displayed in Times Square, NYC). It also won photo of the day at 2 other sites.
The starfish were very tiny, the biggest one was probably only 2 inches across. I probably would have never seen them but a woman saw me taking pictures at the beach (what I entered for the Glass II challenge) and she started asking me questions. I told her I was trying to get creative and then she told me about the little pool of water further down the beach where the starfish were. I'm glad she stopped to talk!
