I've just found out I can submit some photos to the exhibition, but the deadline is tomorrow, so I have to choose tonight!
Alright, I can submit 2 into each category if I want to, but I will probably only choose 2 or 3 photos all together since framing isn't cheap.
The categories are:
1. Coloured Photo
2. Black and White photo
3. Theme - Images of my city (all the buildings in my portfolio are of this city.
4. Special effects category, photos featuring the colours green or red.
If you have a minute, can you browse through my portfolio and tell me which ones you think are good enough to display?
Edit: I've decided on
Thanks everyone for the help, I hope I do alright in my first showing!

I think those two would have broad appeal, and are both very fine photos. |

Reason: Photo is interesting and appealing to look at because of the lines, textures and colors.
Reason: A 'human interest' photo that many can relate to. Tired can mean many things to people and given that it is just a closed eyelid with no other identifying features people can ready place themselves into the picture. Not to mention the contrast and composition (angle) are wonderful

You already have a great portfolio, many of you pictures are great but don't take my jugement too seriously because most of the time I can't choose my best pictures to enter in a DPC challenge.
I think that these 3 pictures of yours are great

Thanks guys, I'm starting to narrow it down.
and are being used for the green & red category.
I'd like to use but I edited it as a 640 px size image so I don't have a printable one. : (
Keep the advice coming!

Thanks, I'm just really happy with this especially since it's my first time showing my photos at anything like this. I've had good luck so far, my very first attempt at photography got me a $1000 scholarship, so it's been very encouraging for me to try this out as a profession. |

I am in the other direction on your photos....
I like this if you take this to black and white
And this one
and this one
I am not a big fan of heavy photoshopping in contest images. |
