I sold my first print today.
It's funny, because I got an 8 x 10 printed at Rite-Aid for $3.00, bought a cheap frame 11 x 14" and a black 11 x 14 black matt for $3.99 at an arts and crafts store. I put it together, and hung it on my wall at work. I was goofing around with my cooworkers and put a price tag of $27.99 on it.
This morning a co-worker gave me $28 and and said keep the penny.
It's sold. I am going to take the money and make 3 more.
This is the pic:

That's great, Tony! It's a super shot and I'm not surprised at all that someone wanted to buy it. You'll have to raise the price on DPC prints, now that you know what it's worth. :) |

I'm not interested in the money yet. I need to try to get some opportunities to take more pictures. I am happy there are people who like the picture. I see it everyday, as my desktop on my computer, and still can't believe I took it.
I wish I could go back to that day. I could have increased aperature a lot more. It was shot at 1/360 of a second. I like the DOF in it, but I would like to have seen a few stops higher too.
