I've actually considered that. I figure 2 years of college and working part time is probably easier than trying to find some monetarily sound lady, making her fall in love with me, and convincing her to let me marry her and be the housewife. But if that opportunity did so happen to present itself, my plans could be changed at any time.

Comedian Ignatius Jones once suggested that the best option for the truly hip male is to find a woman who can support him while he stays home to look after the kids, and then not have any kids. :)

Deapee, decision made and a job lined up too - sounds like things are turning out well!

First day of classes was good.

I just gotta go some time tomorrow and get my student ID...not sure what I need one for, but everyone else seems to be getting one because the line was down the hall and around the corner.

Hit up the book store today, not as bad as I thought, but still robbery.

In all honesty, I think that a motivated individual could definately better educate themselves in a library for free than in a college for sometimes a whole lot of money. I've always known that and that's why college didn't work for me the first time around.

But now I'm a bit older so boredom doesn't bother me like it used to. I'll just sit there and soak up any information that comes my way, get my piece of paper that says I know something, and go from there.

Student ID will get you all the student discounts (not just on campus, but at the movies or whatever), and often, you will need it to write exams (to prevent cheating), check books out of the library, and other things.

The IDs on my campus even have food money (if you puirchase it) I think on it.

As for someone educating themselves in the library, your right, but then that person doesn't get that little piece of paper ;)
