I can't print my picture in 8X10 in total black and white. Instead it comes like with a blue shade. When I print it on 4X6, it's ok but in 8X10, nope. Nothing to do. I cliked the Print in Grayscale, modified the file to grayscale mode, nothing works!!!! How can that be! HELP!
Thanks. ;o(

I have been doing research on which printer I am going to blow some money on. SO far trying to decide between s9000 and i9100 (epson 2200 seems out of the price range at this time). How do you like the i9100??
I was reading a bunch of stuff on dpreview last night under the printers forum and search for i9100 (and may add B&W-think that is where I saw it). but, discussing your problem. (mind you i do not have this printer), but what they were saying is to adjust the color manually (in your case draw the cyan or blue slider to a negative number (or lower than it is now.) and something about the ICM/ICC box checked or not.Check here

Are you printing on the same brand and type of paper for both sizes? It could be a simple difference in the paper...

Good point John. Did you print the 4x6 and the 8x10 on the same paper.
I also read one that said they had better results changing the file to grayscale and then back to RGB (still grayscale pic though)
I haven't had a chance to get this or try it, but silveroxide.com looks pretty cool as a photoshop plugins. (?)

First, I LOVE my Canon 9100. The printing is beautiful and you can see no difference from a lab photo.

Second, the only both 4X6 and 8.5X11 papers I printed with Photo Paper Pro checked (and they were such paper). The 4X6 came out b/w and not the 8.5X11. Now I tried to print it on a 11X17 (which is a pearl finish) and select the mat paper option and it came out b/w... Go wonder...

Thanks for your input.
