Which do you think is better to use?

Depends on what you are processing and the results you want. Curves is a more powerful tool if uses carefully. |

I use both. First I use levels, then I use curves. Levels is useful for adjusting the "white point" and "black point", and curves is useful for adjusting everyting else (i.e. contrast, tonal curve, etc.) Interestingly (maybe because I am not a photoshop expert), it seems that even after using levels and curves, my photos still usually benefit from a brightness/contrast adjustment. I'm still learning, although I have a sneaking suspicion that 'curves' alone should be able to do anyting that levels or brightness/contrast can do.text |

YES.
No really, I'm with Keith and faidoi on this one. Just depends on the shot. As of late I've been using curves more. Learning to use both effectively will greatly improve your post processing skills.

Thanks to Adobe's Bass-Ackwards programming I only have access to Levels. I'd use Curves if I had it, but I use Levels and Brightness/Contrast. |

Levels unless I need a really specific tweak to a specific part of the image - just a particular part of the brights or shadows or midtones. |
