my friend and fellow dpc'er rich has been doing some really cool things with his camera, just for the love of photography.
he just started volunteering at the richmond spca, taking photos of animals needing adoptions fall in love...
he took a photo at the local botanical gardens, gave it to them, and it was published in the annual Discover Richmond guide (and he got credit!) way cool!
and, wildly enough, a few months ago, while i was stuck in the backseat of a truck on a 10-hr drive, i started perusing an old issue of Virginia Wildlife magazine, where i came across a prize winning shot of his! what a grin i got, seeing his published work.
way to go rich! keep it up!! |

Wow, good stuff in the portfolio! I normally get bored with bird shots, but his are outstanding. Who needs a $5k+ super telephoto for wildlife photography? Well, actually, I do! :o)
But anyway, well done! |

OMG, Skip! That's uber-cool and Rich's work is fantastic. I so admire people who give to much. His work is quite an inspiration. :)

Rich really  . He is completely awesome as a photographer and as a human being. He also has one of the coolest dogs on the planet.
