Here are a couple photos that I added to my portfolio tonight, Just wondering what everyone thought.

Queen of the Gypsies

So Here's Your Problem.....

Both of them are meant to be humerous, but I was happy with the way they turned out and would like to have feedback from others

This thread is slowly sinking to the bottom of the list and I haven't gotten any comments yet :-(....Maybe if I bump it up someone will notice it!

The second photo, "So here's your problem", is definitely of more interest to me, and I think it has a lot of potential.
First, I think the main subject of the photo would be the interaction between the child and adult. I think you could use the rule of thirds and drop and child into the bottom left focal point (1/3 up and 1/3 from left of image). This would probably chop off part of the car, but it's to strong anyway. With the shot reframed, the adult will probably become a secondary focal point in the top right corner. The child is lighter, so I think he would remain the primary. I think the result would be a nice shot of the relationship between the two.

Good shot! Keep experimenting with differnt framing idea and angles.

I think the first shot looks like it is a darling shot, the expression and outfit look cute, however, i think the post processing, while fun to experiment with, may not be most flattering. It is a neat effect but I would like to see it more natural. : ) just a thought.

I love "Queen of the Gypsies" so much that I added it to my favs.
Good frame and excellent use of b/w without any tone.
Few pics translated in that version keep any detail at all and that's a clear sign that the pic had something special in it.

The second one looks like an usual candid to me without the WOW effect that some candid have.

I agree with ellamay on the first shot. It' lost it's qualifications as a 'photo' for me somewhere in the post processing :)

this is a comment about "So Here's Your Problem."
I'm sorry, but I don't find that picture cute at all. In fact, I find it somewhat obnoxious. The juxtaposition of a child underneath a car, or even appearing to be, is disconcerting to me, to say the least. The car appears to be balancing on his head and I also find the young man's pose to the right awkward and not adding much to the photo. In addition, I don't find the picture to express any spontaneity or innocence. Sorry to be harsh here.

Thank you for taking the time to comment, but just for the record, my child was at no time underneath the car or even close to it, the cart that she is sitting on is infact a few feet away from the car. I do appreciate your comments on the photo itself, but wanted to set the record straight that my daughter was at no time in any harm in taking this photo.
