what a great idea! air getting to your bits very very important...

Does keep you much cooler than normal, in my opinion. Just gotta take care who's around when squatting down to shoot pics. hehehehe.

i know i'm a girl, i still wear my kilt, from the isle of skye, that i got when i was 6. it's a traditional kilt in my family's tartan, and while it is very very short now, i still love it.

i want a hiking kilt now!

o, and men are sexy in kilts, for all dahkota's reasons.

I think we all just discovered that girls in kilts can be pretty sexy too.. ;)

I think wearing kilts in the winter will require thicker fabrics or they will risk frozen balls.

When I used to be in the army reserves, we had to wear a kilt on special occasions (we were an irish regiment). On Remembrance Day (November 11), we had to parade through downtown from the armoury to the arena (about 20 minutes) for the remembrance ceremony. The temperature was near freezing, and needless to say, it is not an experience I'd like to repeat.

That comparison is hardly fair on all the other kilt wearers .... Mel Gibson would even look sexy wearing a garbage bag.
