No one has suggested this as far as I can tell but has anyone thought about contacting a psychic? There are serveral right in Arizonia including the one that NBC show is based on. I know it seems a bit out there but it can't hurt.

If anybody wants to post flyers, here is a link:

//www.securitymonster.com/Family/steve/SteveMissingflier.pdf

These can be loaded via a web page and then printed out, so if you get in contact with any gas station, motel, etc, you can either give them this link, email them a pdf copy, fax, etc and they can post them up!

That's a great idea if you can get it. Also have a chase vehicle (or two) on the ground in the general area with a radio and gps to talk to the person in the aircraft, and the pilot can tell them the coordinates to drive/hike to check it out.

Daryl,
First off I want to tell you and Tina that when the time comes I hope I have such good friends as you guys. I am not much of a touchy feely guy but I really feel your pain, hell I even had a dream about Steve last night.
I am sure if you set up a donation account for the planes you will get the money. I have seen this community give to many things and I am sure most people here will pony up for this.

No one has suggested calling the police department and asking for the priority of this case to be raised. Does anyone think that would help? Or would it just piss them off? Maybe just for a few hours tomorrow morning. Or if there is a fax number for them, maybe we could all fax the request to them so their phone lines don't get clogged up. Hopefully that would encourage them to do an organized search and get the warrants they need to get his financial info.

In Arizona if you notify one department they all know. As Daryl said he is allowed, as an adult, to just disappear and there is only so much the police can do and I am sure that it is high on the list for law enforcement.

Phoenix currently has 2 serial killers running around which has spread them very thin. All law enforcement that can be notified, I am sure, has been.

Help me please?

I have no time to track this down tonight but I just got off the phone with someone who said the owner of the GREEN SUV might be a girl named Barbara who is in the billiads league. Barbara has a good friend named Corinsa (we are not sure of the spelling) so finding her might be close enough to find Barbara
If we find out who Barbara is and she in fact was with Steve we might find out some much needed information.

phoenixtaproom would be a great place to start...

Transfer to checking - 3-4 days, free
They send you a check - 1-2 weeks, $1.50 fee
ATM (requires a PayPal ATM card) - Instant, $1.00 fee
I found that out the hard way after selling some stuff on EBay. Had to wait to get my own money.
2 other options I could suggest
1. Post an address to mail a check or money order.
2. Western Union.

Editd to correct some info

You can go to a local bank and set up a free account for the "Search for Steve Davidson Fund". Have one or two family members that has access to the account. Then you could post the banks phone number for people to transfer money (free to the account).

Explain to the bank manager what it's for and I believe it would be best if you set it up at the same bank he has an account with. You may just gain the trust and respect from the manager to tell you (of the record) if his account has had any activity and where.

Phoenix Tap?

No Barabara's or Corinsa (or Cori-anything) that I can find. I did find the new forum they set up. Someone had already started a thread on Steve so I asked for info on a Barbara or Corinsa and posted the links to the sites.

I think it starts with a K... i think its Karensa or something. Name sounds familiar. Steve knew her I believe.

A 'K', great, thank you. I will try searching that. Thank you!

Does anyone of the family have access to Steve's email by chance? If so, PM me, please.

We have talked to Barbara. No need to spend time looking for her.

A huge stretch but there's a "Kori Joiner" listed on this AZ billiards site.

are there 2 barbara's? they speak of one from the pool league it seems
i think speaking to everyone in the leagues can't hurt.
If nothing else it alerts more people to be on the lookout for him.

If you confirm your paypal account you get the money transferred to a checking account with in days, and they lift the $500 limit. I have mine set up that way so that I can access client fees for wedding photography that way if that is how the client chooses to pay. Just FYI...

Steve's sister in law here again.

I am setting up a bank account tomorrow morning, probably through USBANK or Wells Fargo--something widely available. I will post the info ASAP. I've had many, many emails about where to deliver funds for Steve's search and rescue, as I call it.

Paypal is tenative and should be operational in the morning. I know it isn't the best depository but it's convenient.

I forgot to mention that I called Wells Fargo this morning and they were no help. I'll try again in the morning with fliers, etc.

I may use my AJ/CJ contacts to get more missing person serach and rescue info. My contacts may at least know someone in the Phoenix/Mesa area that is affilliated with the police. You never know.

Jennifer - Doesn't steve bank with US?? I have for the last 40 years so i'm just hanging on with my bucks and will deposit it immediately when I hear where to deposit it.

PS I really don't care for wells fargo (probably just a personal thing with me).

one more thing - we had copies made of the missing person with the pictures and car license ## and the basic information - My husband is leaving for Sturgis in the morning with several Hog buddies and I have made up 100 flyers that will be posted along their way and they will post them heavily in Sturgis and surrounding towns. He explained that people come from all over for this bike rally and you never know - someone may see one and say "hey I just saw this guy in wherever they may have seen him. Long shot maybe but you never know until you try
08/04/2006 02:51:51 AM · #773
What are the chances he left state? If it would help I could get the flyer in about 10k emails by morning. One end of the country to other, the only thing is, they are all early childhood educators, and teachers. But I am willing to try... maybe attn it to those in the AZ area. Let me know. Bout all I can do as I don't think he meandered into the calif desert so flyers posted here wont help much.

Not trying to be a spoil sport - but since some have suggested creating bank accounts, Paypals, etc for help funding Steve's search, please also be very careful of FRAUD and/or identity thefts - someone claiming to help may be trying to con someone else's donation money.

conmen (or women) may see this as an opportunity to get some quick cash. Just a though.

Very good point! Jennifer, be sure to screen these people as best as you can. I too have heard of these types of scams.
