Here is one of my few shots of the World Trade Center site. When I went there, NYC had been very careful not to allow any selling of NYC trinkets or souveniers at the site. There was just a big fence that you couldn't see through very well, and in addition to that, construction workers had set lumber and machinery all along the fence, so really all you could see was the fence itself. I wasn't feeling very creative at the moment, so the shot above is really the best shot I have.

I'd love to see other shots of this space if you have any.

I'm not really sure how to do this....but I am attempting to put in a picture I took of the Pentagon after it was bombed. Here goes my attempt.

I posted this in another post. I do not have copies of the actual destruction on disc, only proper photos

i have quite a few shots of GZ from a visit to NYC last year almost exactly 1 year after. removal had just completed, and very little construction had started. it was so startling because it was just two square holes in the ground and little else.

i will post some on here when i return home. i missed this thread last night.

I went to NYC in December last year and took pictures of just about everything I saw there, hundreds of shots.

We walked down by GZ too. Somehow I didn't want to take any pictures and just looked for a change.

my reaction was the exact opposite. standing in the exact same spot as i had stood exactly 1 year before made me want to capture the sight.

i couldn't then and still cannot comprehend everything. I was literally on the same corner taking pictures straight up into the sky just a week before the 11th in '01. the next year...

i dunno. there were a lot of people having their pictures taken in front of it...like it was an Olan Mills backdrop. that made me extremely angry. am i as awful as they are?
