I have read the WPL website, and I have asked about a WPL3. Looks like there will be one. I figure since I am a nooooob, maybe a noobie team?

Any noobies out there interested in getting a team together so we can get in on some of this fun? We need 7 to fill a team, and we can have some fun coming up with a name and a little icon thing to!

If you are interested put your name here that you are DEFINATELY interested. Some that signed on for WPL2 didn't participate, and I would like to be on a team that is going to fully commit to the season of WPL3. I am not sure when it starts. I have asked and will find out.

While you are at it, if you want to be part of a nooooobie team, you can also put what you would like for a team name so we can all agree.

I'm really looking forward to this! I think it boosts even more enthusiasm for entering the challenges, which in itself is a great concept to boost photography skills. Anyone noooobies game?

GREAT! Got one team player already? I'm psyched! We can decide on a captain later. I don't mind being one but if anyone else would like to be a captain that is fine to. It doesn't matter to me. I just love to do the challenges.

Boon is a very cute idea!

::evil grin:: Yeesss, we must teach you the ways of oversharpening, oversaturation, and over-neat-image. Noobs indeed. :P

I guess I am going to get an average score pretty soon after the first challenge I entered ends.

I am going to chalk it up to bad and impulsive decision making, causing me nothing but embarrassment, if it isn't disqualified all together (EEEEK!). A disqualification may be a blessing in disquise right now if it is. :-) So anyone on this thread looking for great average scores? Forget it! :D Look again after my Zen entry and after my Action entry. For now we can just view each others ports and share the love that way. :D

With the way B&W is going, I'm happy with my 5.1ish score right now. As for my other challenge photos...well, we won't discuss them. I have a couple ideas for for those.

And I don't know if I should be happy or kind of discouraged that I haven't had to verify my B&W one. haha

I'd be interested. Not sure if I'd completely qualify for a newbie team, but definately a beginner!

Hopefully in 9 months (?) when it starts I'll have my average higher then a 5!

I skimmed the link you gave and got a chuckle to see all the different mindsets and studying that has gone on here over how to get a ribbon, and you say that I am proactive? Not that much compared to what others spend their time trying to figure out, which is really like trying to figure out why rice is white. To me it is just a matter of appealing or not appealing to the voters. If it does, you win. If it doesn't, you try again, but you try again anyway I would think? :D

Mmmm. You registered in 2005 though. I'm not sure that qualifies either, but it doesn't matter much to me I guess since you have only entered 19 challenges? What do you say Cryingdragon?

Ok then TheStick! You're in!

So far it is me, Cryingdragon, and TheStick. We need 4 more and then we can work on giving names and stuff!

Cryingdragon came up with "Boon" so far. The reverse of Noob. Why? Do you have any suggestions?

Eminence? Is that something like elegance? I will have to go look up what that means, but if I have to look it up then I think others will have a hard time with it to. Maybe we can see if there are any shorter versions to the word? Neither of you guys are nooobs though. It's nice you are helping out though!

Ok ok, how about Rosebuds? Would be a good name... you're noobs, like beatiful roses waiting to bloom, you're great photographers inside waiting to come out...or...Team Maestro, since as their leader, you're leading them like a beautiful symphony. :)

I like how you come up with this stuff! Rosebuds is a good one. Beautiful roses waiting to bloom is nice, but Cryingdragon hates it so I guess not. Team Maestro sounds to musical though. What do you think Cryingdragon about the Maestro idea?
