How about photographing Urban Opera? Maybe some street performers. Perhaps a vignette of a couple sharing lunch. Perhaps kids walking in a (semi) straight line for a field trip from classes. Whatever it is, invest it with some life, some passion. Capture a shot of life that makes the viewer want to join with others in the concrete jungles and bellow out their operatic aria, "I live among others!"

jon -- "the crossing" is an excellent shot.
i read into this potential challenge topic almost as a "sounds of the city" kind of thing. if it were a topic, i think i would try to enter something that, although visual, would stimulate people's audible sensations.
lots of potential there... |
