Going thru some results and noticed the profile of this photographer Kita.

Some fine results for a 9 yr-old! ;^)

This image isn't her best result, but is what led me to her profile.

Way to go Kita! Now I'm starting to feel really old all of a sudden. ;^)

Yeah, very impressive and I think soon she´ll be the youngest to ribbon here, that is till Alexander beats her, hehe :)

Have had her on my favorites list since early december last year and she is not going off that list anytime soon.

Kita continues to impress me. It's amazing what can be done at such a young age.

My stepdaughter
Miss Taterbug (7 yrs) did better than me in Bokeh II and she reminds me of it nearly ever day...

I am just amazed at Kita talent, at such a young age. She has a wonderful gift, and uses it so very well.
I just loved visiting her portfolio, and have now added her to my list of favorite photographers.
With the talent she shows us now, just imaging what she is going to be like in a couple of years.
I will look forward to watching her grow as a photographer, as time progresses.....

I just found this thread. Kita is sitting watching the morning TV so hasn't seen it yet. She will be thrilled as she is very proud of her work.

I want to say thanks to everyone for the great support you all show her. She is getting more and more confident in her ability both behind the camera and the computer. And the crazy ideas that she comes up with...geez...I hope she wins lotto soon to support this craze.

But anyways...for the record...yes Catwoman is me. It wasn't the pic that I would've have chosen to enter but when I asked her why she chose it she said it looked like a cat preening herself....that made sense to me...but I have to admit that the whole family including my work partner Ricco (the one that helped Kita's daddy hold the backboard in the shot) got heaps of laughs at the comments on the image. Even the one about Dr Jones! I remember getting that comment on my first nude image here...so that raised my eyebrows this time around for Kita.

She loves Catwoman and even my five year old hassles me to wear it for photos...so no doubt Catwoman will reappear.

Hehehe...hubby just read what I wrote and laughed and said for me to write that he likes the Catwoman suit too...lmao! But seriously...the children love the catwoman suit as we have heaps of fun when I put it on and the boys put on their spiderman outfits..LOL!!

Wow Kita, you are really a talented young photographer. It's wonderful that you discovered this so early in life because now you get to enjoy it for many years to come. Keep shooting and keep exploring all those ideas that you get.

Hey guys.....am I famous here or what? I'm just a little girl with a big mouth, long, brown hair and sapphire blue eyes.I also like poetry and lyrics.

I know that some of you find it hard to believe that someone of my age took these photos but I accept that. We are all different we all have good days and bad days.

But I take photos that I like and somehow some people don't like them and I get a low score. But when I take photos that I don't like then people like it and I get a high score.

But sometimes there are pictures that I like and people like them and that is okay.

I have learnt in photography there are other photographers in the world that are good and we should not boast that we are the best because other people are the best too. Everyone has differences and we should be proud of that.

So I hope that I can teach you new things just like you are teaching me new things.

I hope you all have a great day and happy photographing!

regards,

kita

Hi Kita-

You are such a darling ;) Some of us knew your great potential a while back but now I am happy that more and more people are seeing your great work. You have a great teacher in your "mum" and I bet you can teach her a thing or two as well. You've been in my faves for a while now. No fluke there. I see a ribbon hog in the making :) Your photos are very "mature" for someone your age. You definitely have a bright future in photography.

Keep on shooting Kita. We'll always be watching for what comes next.

Hugs,

Rikki
