I voted on about 20 pics and haven't seen any oops yet!?
Bunch of snapshots, why people bother submiting just to have something?
I did skip this one because couldn't find an cool oops situation..

I was so undecided about which to submit for this challenge, I went back and forth up until the last few seconds... so far 60 votes and no comments. Hovering around the 5.3 range.

I am the first to admit that it was hard to come up with a good idea. But so far I am pretty disapointed with the OOPS entries.

There are quite a few that I wonder how they fit the challenge. But, before voting I'm taking my time to really look at those and determine if the oops is something that just isn't obvious to me.

For all I know people are wondering the same about mine. :-)

75 VOTES 5.105 AND 8 COMMENTS...ALL GOOD? I had fun, and people that are commenting like as well. to close to the 4's for comfort, but what can one say? good or bad I take all comments. All people can be teachers if you let them...even those with which you do not agree.

I had fun with this one. Can't wait to tell everyone how I did it.

4.3... one good comment... which is nice, but I'm more curious what I did wrong =)

I wondered if it would be hard to figure out my oops! Guess I was right. If you look hard enough you can see it.

Well i just finished voting and I think it was my lowest voted challenge to date. I saw way to many shots where the title told what the oops was but the picture it self said nothing.... I feel that on a challenge like this it is not just about how in focus your shot is (for example), it is mostly about capturing the theeme.

mine is not scoring as well as i had hoped, but maybe if ALL of the scores are depressed i'll have a chance.

i've not voted yet, but cruising through the thumbnails shows that this is a pretty low-quality challenge...

oops is how i felt when I saw my score this morning....oh well...its all for fun and learning anyways

I GUESS WE NEED TO VOTE FOR THE CREATIVITY AND SITUATION MORE THAN FOR THE QUALITY, I RATED ALL THE PICS, AND I GUESS EVERY PEOPLE MUST VOTE FOR ALL THE PHOTOGRAHPIES SUBMITTED

I agree that there are a lot of snaps of things totally irrelvant to the title but you always get that.

The things that stick out are the many pictures of things that haven't got wrong yet! The one that sticks in my mind is a picture of a kid walking and one foot is off the ground! Why? There is always going to be a fair bit of 'crowbarring' when people don't have a picture to suit the challenge but why do they all too often get highly rated?!

I gave out four 10's, more than I've ever given in a single contest. Yes, some were average, but there were also some really outstanding ones.

I went for an authentic non-staged shot of something gone wrong. It was by far the most difficult shot I've taken since I've had my camera.

My score is my lowest ever but I learned a lot from the shot and am personally pretty happy with it. There are things that could have been better in ideal circumstances but I did the best I could with what I had to work with.

Staged shots do have an advantage in voting but I had a lot of fun trying to capture something real.

hmm mine started out low 5s, and has now dropped to high 4s, which I'm not overly pleased with, but I think my shot meets the challenge and composition is good, all good comments so far.. I'll probably be asking about my score once voting is over..

theres some good shots there that dont meet the challenge and some bad shots that do, my highest vote so far is an 8, but I've only voted on 12 so far..

So far, this is my highest rated photo on DPC yet. Not that it's going to win a ribbon or anything, but for me it's high -- I'm switching between the low 6's and the high 5's. Maybe with all the low ratings going on, I have a chance to finish in at least the double digits. I've only received 8 comments, and most of them are simply "nice shot" type comments. Only one comment had suggestions for improvement. After my debacle with desolation because people didn't get how I my picture matched the theme, I was worried no one would get the oops in this shot, but I guess I'm wrong. A few people must be getting it.

I would've been one without much "oops-factor." It was a wise choice, and would've been a wise choice for a lot of people who did submit. I'm not sure I even wanna bother sifting through each individually and voting on them. Maybe if I'm bored later this week.

Ya know,,, some of us are here to learn, and if a voter is bored, how can we expect to recieve any kind of positive critique. (not meaning saying how good it is, but input for making things better if need be)

Frankly, I'd rather have an interested voter than a bored one.
