My mom works for a denstist, and he has decided to place a half-page ad in a local magazine. I have been asked to help come up with the ad, but I am drawing a blank.
If any of you have any ideas, please help! I want to give him something that is unique.
It will be half page, and black and white.

When someone mentions the word dentist most people shrug. For some reason that is the last doctor they want to go to. So when placing an ad (half page) you need to show the no-pain side of the practice.
I would center the add around a family with a clean white, straight smile and go from there. Use the wording in the add to emphasize the procedures he offers (not pictures).
Do not clutter up the ad to make it seem overwhelming. Remember his ad it to attract clients by letting them know he can give them a great smile with the least amount of pain. So the ad needs to be peaceful and alluring. And that's what you have to focus on.
Hope that helps.
