Greetings...
I have been working on a collection of images called "Sports Scenes" over the last few weeks. This collection is just a set of ordinary things that we see when we go to sporting events and not so much the athletes or people involved in the sport.
I'm looking for feedback on the idea itself rather than critique on the photos. Does this seem like an interesting collection or something worth pursuing to a greater degree?

| Do you have a plan for them? Seems like a collective poster or a triptych might be nice. |

I don't know what I want to do with them yet, if anything. I may just add them to my print collection.

Hmm, nice collection. My first reaction - they are all on a dark side, but pbase background might contribute to that feeling.
An idea: If you ever create a book on sports (with people and actions) this could serve as a first couple of pages, in anticipation of what people usually look for in sports photography.
Then again, it could be named "behind the scenes" (although it has a different meaning, sometimes again involving people), or 'B' side of sports...
Again, a very nice collection of photos. |

| I think the idea is a good one. There are lots of little sights and images at a sporting event that a lot of people can relate to. I'm not a big fan of the sepia/B&W theme, but that's just a taste thing. You have a lot of images of signs. To me, these aren't very interesting by themselves. You generally shoot them straight-on, without any other elements in the shot to spice it up. You might consider working other things/people into those shots to give context and tell a story, and maybe mixing up the perspective a bit. |
