This is my first attempt at a business card. Just wanted to get some feedback as to whether it's readable, format is ok, stuff like that.
Any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks!

It's really hard to see the face of the person. I didn't realize what it was until I looked at the larger version. A nose might help with that identification.

I like the format. The huge thing I notice though is when I first glance at it, I don't see a face and I am left wondering what I am looking at. Of course once I look a bit longer I see that it is obviously a child's head but I am afraid that some people will not take the time to look. Silly fast-paced world being what it is, you might want to consider darkening the chin area so that you will have something immediately recognizable and identifiable as your studio.

edit: Yes, what kyebosh said! (hehe!)

OK. Thank you for the feedback so far.
Here's attempt #2

and attempt #3

Are these pictures any better/easier to "get" than the first one?

SJCarter, I will most definitely consider the text changes you recommended in future layouts.

I really like your first one best...if you could just add in a little more detail from the chin and nose. I think the high key effect is wonderful. I love how it just blends into the card. IMHO I don't care for the third one very much.

I really like how the high key image blends into the card in that first version. Agree with the others that it would've been perfect if the facial features where more defined, like the nose mouth and chin. Very nice work though :)

First is best so far, IMHO.

OK - first I want to say thanks for all the help.
Second, I agree with the consensus - the first one seems to work the best.
Per the suggestions given, I have darkened around her chin and mouth. Does this look better?
