Cool, congrats... You shooting indoors or outdoors... studio?
#1 shoot RAW (download the latest version of Canon DPP - should be free)
#2 think out some specific ideas in your head for shots before jumping in
#3 do some test shots the day before, and a couple of hours before the shoot... It will help work out your jumpiness and iron out any potential problems BEFORE they arrive and make you all flustered in the middle of your shoot (or worse, at the beginning)
#4 SMILE! If you are happy, chances are, they will be too... (Smile, and the world smiles with you. - Charlie Chaplin)
#5 If you are using a tripod, remember to sometimes look up and take the shot without your face in the viewfinder... See how their look changes.
#6 3 shot bursts? (to avoid blinking and weird expressions)
#7 lens pen everything, BEFORE they arrive... :)
#8 try to be personable and relaxed.
I've got my first job coming up in a week and I'm nervous as anything :). Spent 2 hours mucking about with RAW today...
FWIW, a RAW should be around 8.7MB, but usually works out to around 7+
Make sure you have the space.
I don't know how much you have already prepared... sorry if it sounds simplistic.. :)
