I'm sure someone, ages ago, pointed out a site where you could upload a photo, and they would print and send it as a postcard, with your personalised message, anywhere in the world, for about £0.50 a piece, or less if you buy credits in bulk. I'm sure I bookmarked the page, but I can't find it anywhere
Can anyone point me in the right direction please?
thanks,
Kirsty

Photobox do them for about 50p per card but they don't actually send them off to the recipient for you? Is that what you meant? |

Photobox isn't the one the OP is referring to but I forget the name of the place I think he is referring to - Setz used to use them for sending his images out as postcards - they print the image, stamp and address the back and add message if required before posting it out for you. I think you can upload a range of your images to their site for sending out in this way. It's US based.

Nooooooo....when I read "Send them from anywhere in the world to anywhere in the world." I didn't realise you could only buy credits if you have a US billing address. That sucks. Really really sucks. It seems such a great service as well :'(

that does seem a great idea. i just tried it, and it seemed to accept my canadian address for the freebie. or, is it only for the freebie, and then it says no when you try to do a real mailing?

I work at the Post office and I see the Amazing Mail post cards come thru all the time. They are amazing quality and have the barcode printed so it cuts down on processing, we don't have to print one on. Since the Post office is fully automated, the post cards are designed well so they arrive in great shape. I've seen store bought postcards that jam in the machines or rip easily. Those won't. |

I've got the freebie through fine (haven't used it, may try it out just as a tester) but it says
Originally posted by AmazingMai: US residents anywhere in the world can send postcards and we can deliver them anywhere in the world. Our system is a great bargain for individuals that are out of the country because purchases are in US funds. However, the CyberCash verification system will not allow a purchase by anyone with a non-US billing address. (emphasis mine) |
I don't really know how different online payments work, as I've never got round to opening an account with debit/credit use, but I'm guessing that means any of their payment methods (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express ) require a US billing address.
Anyone care to disagree? please? hehe |
