What is the best way to get people to look at my pictures for evaluation? I have a whole slew of them I've taken in the last year and am curious to know how I might be able to improve them. I realize they are all pretty "raw" in the sense that the post-processing has been pretty minimal.
They are also nowhere near the quality of the photos that most people have in their portfolios--but everyone had to start somewhere right?
So, anyway I have uploaded a bunch of photos into my portfolio. Anyone can look at them and comment on them as they see fit. I can answer any questions you may have as well. I haven't had time yet to go through and give all the information for each picture, but will give all that as soon as I have time.

The best way is to ask about individual images. The feedback you may get by asking people to browse your whole portfolio will probably be short.
You may want to post an image in the forums, give your own thoughts on it, and then ask for feedback.

Pick out a few that you'd like comments on and post a thread in the "individual image discussion" forum. That's generally the best way to get feedback.
Another good way is to give comments. Many people will check back to your portfolio and return the favor. |
