I just had to share this with my DPC family. OK, so it's a local magazine, but it DOES get sent to all of our area citizens and ALL businesses and I DID get the cover!!!! I apologize for the poor quality of the samples (used a cheap P&S to get the images in less than ideal lighting).

I also am donating a print to the local NICU and will be presenting LIVE on TELEVISION during the Children's Miracle Network this weekend. The print will be displayed in the NICU parent area.

I know for a lot of you this is very small time but it's great exposure for me.... Hopefully it will open some doors for me to follow my dream... Maternity and newborn photography.... Wish me luck!!!

| Congratulations! Those are some very touching images, I especially like the 2nd one. With shots like those in your portfolio, I think the doors will be wide open for you and your dreams of newborn photography. Thanks for sharing and best of luck to you! |

Congrats man, on both the publication and the televised donation. Your shot of the child in NICU is heart breaking. After working in a hospital for years and having to work in the NICU, then to have doctors tell me what will happen to my child who was born over a month early, seeing an image like this really touches me. You shot with much compassion, congrats again.

Local... Thank God! I hate being on TV! I did it once before and thought I wouldn't have a problem with it since I have a some experience in radio.... WRONG!!!! Granted it's only going to be a few seconds... but geesh... I get nervous just thinking about it. Bright lights... big camera.... I was meant to be on the OTHER side of the lens!!!

You'll be fine. remember to smile since many people could see you and go there is a nice man I think we should get him to take pictures of our baby. And I hope you're not, but if you are anything like me you should have your wife dress you:)
