I was asked to take a few pictures for a string quartet today for a web site/ Whle i was at it i took a couple of portraits just for practice.

I really like the angle of the third shot! Neat perspective!! I think the second and third shots are my favorites. If you're looking for nitpicking, there's some tooth discoloration on the second shot and the third is maybe a little too neat-imaged for my tastes. But all in all I think they look good! Really nice lighting and I love the bright blue background against the color of the vioin (or viola?) |

Try to give it a lot less neat image. It blurs parts of the picture you don't want blurred and gets rid of detail in the hair and lips and lines. Try to use the gaussian blur tool and mask off wanted areas in photoshop, I think you'll be happy with the results. Great poses and lighting though, I really like them.
