Your challenge this week. Take one thing and your camera into an empty room and photograph it.

Will an empty corner do? Oh wait.. I don't have any of those either... I guess would be a good time to go browse the housing market ;-)

Might be a challenge where being a Realtor can be a plus :)

I'd have to empty out a room, but it would be a good time to do a thorough cleaning of that room at the same time so I'm game

Empty room.... You so funny!!!! With 5 adults in a duplex, there's not an empty square foot!

My garage houses my sewing machine and serger along with shelves of craft supplies and a work table, my "studio" (garment rack with fabric draped over it and the workmate, lamps propped wherever), workshop and the requisite tools, camping/fishing/canoing equipment, daughter's "moving out" collection, halloween/christmas decorations, and everything else we can't find a spot for.
Imagine what the REST of the house looks like! Empty room...*snort*

Actually, I have some shots like that somewhere.

They were made when my oldest (now 4) was a baby, and we hadn't finished the nursery yet.

Excellent suggestion TC, I have some ideas already.

Interesting idea to challenge one's creativity but as a voter I'm not sure I could stomach seeing a bunch empty room entries. Unless of course they look like Joey's stuff.

That's kind of insulting to the rest of us who may want to enter. Why don't you just take a pass on voting it. Wouldn't want to upset your stomach.

I expressed my opinion. Sorry you found it insulting. If you want to enter by all means do so as nobody is stopping you.

In the Yellow challenge several people mentioned having a difficult time voting on all the images. I felt this could have a similar effect so I expressed that opinion. If you didn't like the information I conveyed then by all means skip over it. Now how about we get back to the subject at hand rather than carry on this tangent?

The comments about the Yellow challenge, as far as I can remember, were made after those voters had seen some of the entries. They were not pre-judging. And I can't remember anyone singling out just one shot as good while saying that the rest were hard to stomach. Please take just a few moments to think about what you're saying before you post.

I think an Empty Room challenge would be a cool one. It has inspired a few prospective entries in my mind. A variation would be to do it without the one object, just a completely empty room. And I'd prefer that it was a Basic rules challenge so that rooms are not "emptied" via software.
