Whoo hoo.... today was the day we found out who won the People's choice awards at the hospital photo contest. Not only did I win first place in scenic under the judges with Winter Wonderland  , but I also won 1st place in scenic under the people's choice (employee votes) for Turbulence  !!! Both will get hung in the ER where I work, plus I win 2 gift certificates. I am so thrilled!!!!
The only thing I did wrong was in my haste to fill out my entries I had forgot to fill in my title. When I got to HR I couldnt remember what the heck I had titled it in the DPC contest so I wrote down "Troubled Waters" - so now it has a new name. lol

The photo is supposed to be hung in your department. Well technically my department is Radiology, but I never work in the main department. I only work in the Emergency Department. I asked Tracy in HR and she said it could be hung in the ER near the xray room. So yes, I'll get to see it everyday when I get to work. :-)

It was my personal fav as well! Congrats! One thing I have noticed it judges (and people in general) are a sucker for the blurred/silky water so it doesnt surprise me your first one was the Judges Choice. I, personally, would have chosen Turbulance.
I hope you sell more prints!

Both pictures show that you have a great sense of light and drama - as well as the willingness to get out there where it is "good 'n cold" to get the picture!
