It is better to regret something you have done than something you haven’t.

(That’s why I ordered my dslr 2 years ago. No, I do not regret it.)

A couple favorites:

- Zelda Fitzgerald

"We are what we think. Everything we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts we make the world."

"When choosing between two evils, I always like to try the one I've never tried before." - Mae West

Two more from Mae:

"Marriage is a fine institution, but I'm not ready for an institution."

"Good sex is like good Bridge... If you don't have a good partner, you'd better have a good hand."

My motto's always been "when it's right it's right", why wait until the middle of a cold dark night?

Quotes by Albert Einstein:

The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing.

The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has its limits.

Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S relativity.

It has become appallingly obvious that our technology has exceeded our humanity.

Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds.

As the circle of light increases, so does the circumference of darkness around it.

Any fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius -- and a lot of courage -- to move in the opposite direction.

Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.

"Cameras don't take pictures, people do..."

That's what I always say for I could take good pics with my P&S... And also because I have no money for a pro camera... untill then I trust in my eyes more than my camera...

If I had all the money that I have spent on women and wine, I would be healthy and depressed.

If one makes a mistake, make sure you find the way to fix it.

We can all learn by our mistakes, and then one will become a much better person.....

I totally believe in this saying of mine, as only last night, I made a mistake in a thread, and now I must, and will find the way, to fix it.....

I sometimes say something much to quickly, and should live by the famous motto "Think before you speak".

I use all of these in my signature. Each has significant meaning to me:

The question is not what you look at, but what you see. - Henry David Thoreau

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover. - Mark Twain

A journey of a thousand miles starts in front of your feet. - Lao-Tzu

If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there. - Lewis Carroll

My new quote is:

"If you're not going to stand behind our soliders, then try standing in front of them."

I thought that was Mark Twain.
(paraphrasing him): I was pleased to be able to answer him directly. I replied, "I don't know."

I have often wondered if that could have originated from here:
Proverbs 17:28 Even a fool, when he keeps silent, is considered wise;
When he closes his lips, he is considered prudent.

Liquor before beer, your in the clear. Beer before liquor never felt better!
Not so wise but everytime I think back to that random guy back in college who was staggering back to his dorm as he said this it makes me smile

Procrastination is like masturbation -- you're only screwing yourself.

This is one I have always loved.....

"Never look back... Never regret... Never remember the people you've met.
Never begin... And never end... Never say never, when it comes to your friends!"
