Oh thank God I'm over a 5 now. Apparently the trolls were out with a vengeance earlier. |

I'm shocked... really expected a low score on this one for a risky entry, but I'm holding over 6. What a pleasant surprise! :-) |

I'm not even going to look again until the end of the week. This is a picture that my daughter wants me to frame and put up in her room for her, so it can't be all THAT bad...
Then again, dpc voters tend to like stuff that's either bright and colorful, or else sort of dark and grungy. Holy places don't really fit in either of those. |

Uhm... stained glass and old cathedrals nail both of those. |

Low scores ... me included. I gave a lot of thought to the subject "Holy Places" and knew from the get-go that the entry choices would be very subjective. The site council chose not to list details for this challenge because one can't adequately describe or assign a definition to such a personal belief. I sincerely hope voters will approach the images with an open mind and possibly learn from the "holy" experiences that others would like to share. |

Good point. I hadn't even thought of those... that might explain why my scores are mediocre. Not that I would have had access to either even if I had thought of it.
Actually, I think that this challenge is the kind where the images have a lot of personal meaning to the person taking them, but not so much to the average person looking at them. I look at my church, and have lots of warm fuzzy feelings about it. Others looking at it just see a bland building. |

So the shot of the church is yours... ;-)

Good point. edit: I look at my church, and have lots of warm fuzzy feelings about it. Others looking at it just see a bland building. |

I think I am being punished for the extensive sinning I've done. :( |
