Say I upload a photo that is 1500px x1000px to my smugmug account.

Is there anything that prevents someone from ordering a 20"x30" print from that photo? You know how some websites throw up a red flag saying a photo is not suitable for that print size?

Thanks :)

I think you can control what sizes you allow for print.

Yes, they have a process where the print size won't even be available if the printer doesn't have enough image detail to produce a good quality print.

The printer for Smugmug has a special printer system where they can upsize your shot for you, but there are limits to it and it all happens behind the scenes.

This is all covered in the Help section of their website. In addition, you could upload the shot in question and see for yourself what sizes can be ordered.
