These are my first shots from my new toy and I'm impressed! :-) These are cropped, but otherwise pretty much straight out of the camera. Of course I am coming from a P&S background, but the difference is amazing. I am so pleased.
 
Off to take more shots...

| I got mine just about a month ago, my brother got one last week, and I just found out my brother-in-law got one for Christmas. Cool toy -- everyone loves it -- I'm still learning. ;) |

As I have, you'll enjoy not having to deal with the limitations of your P&S.
Let it be heard here & now, I'm predicting a ribbon in your very near future. I'll even put a number on it... within one month from now.

Wow! Nice upgrade Jimmy! Congrats! I like the shots you posted. Hope to see more good stuff! I can see you already like the DoF control. I'll comment later.
