In these challenges, there is a 150 KB limit. My pics continously say that I've exceeded thislimit. I'm fairly new to digital photography, so if someone can tell me how to reduce this, I'd appreciate it. I do resize the image so that it conforms to the height and width requirements ...

Thanks!

Are you using photoshop to edit your files? If so, when saving your file you should choose "save for web". Then it will give you a preview screen of how big your actual file will be. Then you can adjust the quality bar until you get it right under 150kb.

SFW also has an optimize feature which allows you to select the file size. Choosing 150k for the file size option makes photoshop choose the best quality that fits.
