I'm assuming it is a selective desat and not a white lion? |

If you dont mind me asking im very Intrigued by the black and white pictures and than some color pops out!! i have done this befor but that picture had a black back ground... just wondering...

I did a desat maindly due to bad lighting - i shot in raw but the place had multiple lighting and i ended up with blue highlights on the fur.
So i did my version of b&w conversion and that was a layer on top of the color layer. you then do a mask on that and paint black on the mask where you want the layer underneath to show thru (in this case a color layer).
BTH, the lion is 'stuffed' and on display at Cabela's in Wheeling WV (they have other stores).
The lion is here last column 7th row down.
