My Friend Is geeting me these for doing a photo shoot for him......they pretty good?

22" is good for head & shoulder shots. The 32" would work for 3/4 of an adult.

You can get Amvona stuff real cheap on Ebay. Check out their store there. I just did a quick search and found these (same brand) 42 inch reflectors currently going for $25, ending in about 4 hours. I'm not sure about that brand, but for that price...
Larger is definitely better for reflectors, 22 inch is too small for practical use. Also, one other thing to consider, do you have an assistant to hold the reflector while you take the shots? You're going to need one of those too. Good luck on your shoot. |

Concur with that. I got a large DynaPhos softbox from Amvona via eBay a couple of weeks ago for $37 plus shipping ($10 or so) while it was listed on their own website at $139 plus shipping. Decent quality stuff.

the one my friend is getting me is the biggest ones... i think the 42 inch one..

I have one and was out playing with it the other day - I got a (cheap) stand to use with it (no assistant needed - but still better that way) and here is a shot without and with (gold side).
You can really see it on the tree and her shirt.
