Last week I had to go to a seminar in Munich and got the chance to meet Pete Hansen AKiwi for the first time. We had had contact for a couple of years but never ever got the chance to meet. Until last week that is :)

So 2 Kiwis together in Munich do only the one thing that 2 Kiwis would do in Munich and that is to got drink some beers in the Hofbrauhaus. It was a cool evening. Pete is a great guy and we had quite a few beers together :) Here are a few pics from the Hofbrauhaus:

A bus load of 19 year old Spanish gurls came to sit around us. We didn't mind.

They probebly still drunk now. I went to NZ a few times and 100 miles south of Australia the oceans turn to beer. They look like they had a good time and I am looking forward to getting drunk with him.. actually he looks a bit like me too... only a bit though

Hmmm, I have often looked at an empty one of those 1 litre mugs

I am surprised that the two kiwis didn't do the Haka after sufficent lubrication!

Loved the photos as I have had a few beers (and a few too many beers - hefeweiss! meine hefeweiss!) in the Hofbrauhaus, including crashing beer glasses together with all and sundry, leaving only mine intact!. Sigh... memories...

Yep, was a great evening.
It was nice meeting his Royal Kiwiness at last after 3 years.
Just before Easter is Strong beer time here in Germany so the beer has 6 or 7% alohollll. For some reason the next morning I had a terrible hangover. Ended up going to work 3 hours late!
By the way the Spanish girls on our table were used in my Candid entry (Didn't do too well) Anyway, they were smiling at Gary who was taking their picture.
Have to do that again sometime.
