I took first place with this image at my first juried competition!!!!!!

BUT.... not only that, I took best in show!!!!! :0) I am sooo happy right now!!

My husband, who dropped the prints off for me messed up a little...
he put this in "close ups"


and this one in Arizona Pics (he also flopped it, upside down...)


But since I won best in show, I can actually laugh at his mistake! :0P The best part of it was hearing people walk by and talk about how much they liked my photo. It was so cool. I even refered this one guy I was talking with to this site!

I think it shows that voters in this competition are too critical and they tend to miss a really great photo.

In this case the challenge was Transparency so I thought I did fairly well considering. Not that it was DNMC but there were plenty of good shots that just fit better...

Lucky for your husband you took best in show otherwise this "I did it" thread might have been about you divorcing him. :P
