I'm feeling a bit better that I'm not alone in feeling frustrated with the low scores I've been getting lately. I'm starting to think that I just suck at photography...

So far my own image appears to be hanging in there above 6.0, a welcome relief. Let's keep it going. :-)

I finished voting. I tried the 4-5-6 bucket approach, and then went back and up'd the better images into the 7-8-9-10 brackets. I must say, there are some great pictures there.

I've left 32 comments so far ... I tried to leave comments on the images that I scored less than 5 (I didn't score anything less than 4 in this challenge). Plus I left comments on some of the higher scoring images that I liked as well. I may be back tomorrow and the rest of the week to leave comments on the fair to middlin' images - the ones I scored in the 5's.

Now, I didn't mean it that way! :-)

It's just ... so many pictures, so little time. I purposely tried to comment on the lower scoring ones so that people would know why I voted that way (realizing, not everyone will agree, at least they'll have a clue from one person's point of view).

The better images often get comments anyway, and I, of course, had to leave my own. But I'll be back for more comments. Promise. :)

interesting to note though that no additional votes cast yet my image has been adjusted a great deal ;( oh well I didn't really think it would last but it was fun to post them up ;)

my goal for this challenge is to place higher than my previous portrait shots and to score above a 6 ;)
