Actually, we've clinched 7th place so far.
Edmonton can't pass us because of number of wins.
SO.. it's impossible for us to face Detroit.

Well, let me add my setiments to my good friend who posted above me.
GO FLAMES!
And yet I still feel a sense of lost, as I am a long time Canucks fan as I grew up living close to Vancouver.
And yea... let's hope that Colorado can stay in 7th where they are right now. There will be some definate BBQ'd Shark. :P

As I understand it, Vancouver still has a shot to make the playoffs, but need someone else to lose while they win out -- including over the Sharks tomorrow in San Jose.
Sharks have clinched no worse than 7th seed.
Note: With four assists tonight, Joe Thornton achieved only the 29th 90-assist season in NHL history, and Gretzky has 13 of those ...
