I went on a shopping spree today and bought some studiolights..
the kit:
3x Bowens esprit gemini 500W
1x batterypack for 2 lights
1x softbox 60x60cm 24"x24"
1x softbox 140x100cm 55"x39"
1x umbrella 90cm 36"
3x stands
1x boom
1x white background
1x grey background
1x bag that holds 2x lights, battery, 2x stands, softbox, umbrella, and other small stuff.
plenty of cables and stuff..
and this set me back $4135 and change.... could have gotten the same setup for less than $2500 in USA :(

Very nice setup.
I have a similar setup but with the 3rd mono being a 250W. Sometimes the lower power of the 250W comes in handy for using larger apertures.
You'll enjoy using them very much.

cool stuff!!! we used to have the bowens system at work, but now completely chenged to Hensel. But the Lamps are really cool and will serve you for a long time. Well invested money....

| Very nice work and a great setup DanSig. I like the second shot of the girl - has an old film portrait quality to it. Thanks for posting the equipment list also - I am dying to setup something like that. |
