I, unfortunately, am in the middle of trying to get myself ready to move to Vancouver at the end of the month. Shooting is far from my mind.. I'm even behind on my self-portrait thing.

eek.

Still.. *must* get something for week 6.. no sense coming in as a back-up and then not playing. *sigh*

WPL News

Well week four is over and now it’s time to crunch some numbers. In the World League Team Pentax holds there own destiny. Sitting a 4-0, one more win would crown them the World Division champions but would need to win out (6-0) to guarantee them a bye week by having the best win / loss percent. If Team Pentax stumbles and looses one of the two remaining weeks and if The Magnificent 7 wins the next two weeks; with their high average The Magnificent 7 could win the Global Division and have the important bye week.

But lets don’t forget Team 20D, they are sitting in a good position along with Team Outcasts. Both sitting at 3-1 could win out and create a three-way tie in the Global Division. If that happens then The Magnificent 7 would win the Global Division on their high average. Leaving Team 20D and Team Outcasts fighting for the wildcard spot.

Now that we are on the subject of the wildcard spot it is very important to Team Outcast that Team 20D looses at least one of the two remaining weeks because of their deficit in average of –0.3401 or they have a very good scoring week and Team 20D chokes and has a low scoring week.

Now to the spoiler roll. The Olympians (sorry to say) are mathematically out but can play the spoiler roll. In week 5 they play Team Nikon, which needs to win both remaining weeks to have a shot at Team Pentax. So Team Nikon is not out but has to rely on some help from other teams and keep focused because the spoiler team can bite you when you’re not looking.

And last but not least don’t forget any of the teams that are 2-2 they all have a mathematical shot at a division title and are in the wildcard chase as well.

Two weeks to go and the drama is starting to unfold. Every team should give it there all these last two weeks.
