Well, I agree, obviousely not the best compared to the winners. But....I got a few comments mentioning ligting. I think that the sepia & contrast adjustments is what gave that effect. I had thought that it made the photo look better.
The thing that drove me nuts is this one little fuzzy on the cloth, apparently got there from postioning the bunny......drove me crazy the whole challenge, I just wanted to go & spot edit the little bugger! :)

I must agree about the lighting. The flash created a harsh outline around your little fella. Next time, try pulling your subject away from the background. Part of your color problem in the first one is your white balance. The whole pic has a blue cast too it. In photoshop, you can go into curves, click the white dropper, and then click on a part of your photo that is supposed to be pure white.

Yep too much flash, and also the sepia, isn't really sepia, so it looks like the white balance if off. Working with flash is very hard (for me at least).

I am here to learn, so now I will start looking into white balance, & other lighting techniques......I also need to learn more about the manual controls on my cameras.
